Chess Lessons

Announcing chess lessons. Our initial instructor at A Tale Of Two Kings in Tucson, Arizona is Matthew Coy. Matthew has been an assistant chess instructor at International School of Tucson through Arizona Chess For Schools. He has also been an instructor at the last two years of the Arizona Chess for Schools Camps.

He is now officially branching off into individual and small group lessons. Please use our Contact tab to let us know if you are interested in lessons. Lessons are available in person or online.

Private Lessons

These lessons will last one hour and conducted one on one. Can include items such as game review, question/answer, learning new openings, strategies, endgames, etc.

Small Group

Save on costs by getting a small group together.

Other Services

This will be determined on an individual basis but could involve items such as coaching at events, offering larger classes, teaching at camps, etc.

Entry Fee: $15 ($10 if rated 1600 or higher)

Prizes: 40% to 1st Place, 20% to 2nd Place, 15% to top U1600.

Medal to top U1000 (Must have at least 2 players in U1000)
